Hoop-a-thon is a fun-filled free throw basketball event benefitting the Huntington's Disease Society of America. Participants shoot free throws for five minutes, trying to sink as many baskets as they can. Sponsors pledge a specific amount of money for every basket the sponsored shooter sinks. Flat pledges are also welcome with the participant shooting for fun and prizes.

The Twin Cities Hoop-A-Thon is not only a basketball event, but has activities and games for everyone of all ages and abilities. A carnival like event in the cafeteria features a silent auction, raffles, cake walk, putt putt contests, nintendo wii and guitar hero contests, special appearences, and food/refreshments provided by our sponsors.

Schedule

1:00pm - Event starts, silent auction opens
2:15pm - Culvers Cake Walk
2:45pm - Check presentation from Xerox and Performance by the Timberwolves Hoop-Troop
3:10pm - Silent Auction Closes
4:30pm - Slam Dunk Contest

Attend the event and be eligible for a prize:

-Donate $25 and receive an event t-shirt and a gift bag!

-Donate $100 and receive 2 Upper Club tickets ($44 value) to the MN Twins vs the Anaheim Angels on Saturday April 18th, 2009!
