Free Throw Contest

  • Compete in Minnesota’s largest individual free throw competition in support of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.   Make as many rapid-fire free throws as you can in 3 minutes.  Prizes and awards will be given to the top three shooters in each category:

    • 12 & under, male and female
    • 13-18, male and female
    • 19-30, male and female
    • 31+, male and female

    All participants are encouraged to raise funds for the cause.  Challenge yourself to hit one of these fund-raising goals and get great rewards!

    • $30 – T-Shirt & Gift Bag
    • $150 – T-Shirt, Gift Bag & 2 Twins Tickets
    • $500 – T-Shirt, Gift Bag, 2 Twins Tickets & $25 Gift Certificate to Restaurant.com
    • $1000 – T-Shirt, Gift Bag, 4 Twins Tickets, $25 Gift Certificate to Restaurant.com & Hoopathon Sweatshirt
    • Top 2 Individual Fundraisers: BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet or HTC Flyer Tablet

    Check in and registration is at 1:30pm and the individual shooting competition is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

    For those who wish not to participate in the shooting competition, come out and cheer on all of the shooters and enjoy the entertainment.

    Crunch and the Timberwolves Hoop Troop Dunk Team will perform from 4:15-4:45pm!

    Additional Activities Include:

    • Face painting, bouncy games, other shooting competitions
    • Live music and DJ
    • Food and beverage from local vendors
    • Silent auction and raffle
